Phi Gamma Delta is Not for College Days Alone. This is why we are so excited to present Perge! Napa Valley, a premium wine brand that provides the perfect bottle to share with brothers. Not only is the wine ideal for sharing friendship and memories, it also financially supports the Fraternity.
Perge! Napa Valley, in partnership with Fairwinds Estate Winery, is a brand exclusively available to Phi Gamma Delta graduate brothers. With nods to the history and symbols brothers hold near and dear on every bottle, Perge! Wine Club is perfect for dinner with family or friends, a reunion with chapter brothers or celebrating any occasion.

The Founding Collection: LOG CABIN
Log Cabin is part of The Founding Collection which pays homage to the locations, symbols and events associated with the founding of Phi Gamma Delta. In 1795 John McMillan founded a classical school in this tiny log cabin, later to send his students to the newly chartered Jefferson College in nearby Canonsburg. McMillan’s old “log college” – the foundation of Jefferson College – was frequently visited by the men who would found Phi Gamma Delta, evidenced by McCarty’s and Fletcher’s names etched on the doorstep.
We introduce you to The Founding Collection: Log Cabin. This proprietary red blend – from our award-winning winemaker Todd Heth – exhibits dark blackberry, bing cherry, and plum notes perfectly into layers of coffee and tobacco. The finish is dry with long-lasting berry fruit. Silky but firm tannins, this wine is enjoyable now but has the ability to age well in the cellar.
Gamma – Snowy White Owl
Endearingly known as Gamma, the mascot of the Phi Gamma Delta and important symbol to its members, the great snowy owl is indigenous to the Allegheny Mountains of western Pennsylvania. According to legend it was an unintended visitor to some of the secret, midnight meetings of the “Delta Association.”
We introduce you to Gamma – Snowy White Owl. From the chalky soil of the Carneros region in southern Napa Valley, this gem exhibits lush green apple and bright grapefruit notes while dancing across your palate. This stunning wine is light and friendly with very subtle vanilla and pear blossom hints on the nose. Balanced fruit with tart acidity makes this wine a classic example of Premium Napa Valley Chardonnay.
PERGE!
Dating back to the original constitution of 1848, The watchword of each member shall be ‘Perge’ and his lodestar the highest niche in the Temple of Fame. Perge! is loosely interpreted to mean Carry On! or Press On! and used to reinforce this motto between brothers. Brother Calvin Coolidge once expressed his significant thoughts on this watchword, as expressed in the Persistence quotation, “…Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent. The slogan ‘Press On’ has solved and always will solve the problems of the human race.”
We introduce you to Perge!. This premium sparkling wine – meticulously and artfully made in the traditional champagne method – rivals anything found from the best Champagne houses in Épernay and Reims. Blended superbly from Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, this magnificent Napa Valley Brut exhibits rich fruit aromatics of strawberry and delicate white cherry that follows through to a creamy mid-palate accompanied with highlights of lime and wet minerality and a lingering vibrant finish.

Phi Gamma Delta graduate brothers have the unique opportunity to support the Fraternity’s mission and Build Courageous Leaders, by joining the Perge! Wine Club. Proceeds go directly to supporting the future of the Fraternity and ensuring another 175 years of friendship, knowledge, service, morality and excellence.
Brothers who join the Perge! Wine Club will receive two shipments annually (three bottles or six bottles each) of wines made exclusively for Phi Gamma Delta, handcrafted in Napa Valley.
