INTRODUCING OUR FALL 2025 Varietal and label

Purple Clematis
2020 Pinot Noir – Santa Barbara County
The purple clematis, adopted as Phi Gamma Delta’s official flower in 1925, symbolizes aspiration, perseverance, and lasting brotherhood. Its vibrant bloom and climbing nature reflect the Fraternity’s commitment to growth and excellence. Like our bonds, it flourishes with time. This wine honors that legacy—a toast to tradition and brotherhood.
We introduce you to Purple Clematis. Our Pinot Noir from Santa Barbara County experiences a lengthy and cool growing season that is similar to the climate of the Burgundy region of east-central France. Unlike Burgundy, our Pinot Noir experiences dense fog that rolls in off the Pacific Ocean; this fog contributes to the ideal climate for Pinot Noir, offering just enough moisture to be beneficial without lingering too long.
